Section guides

Documentation scope: Guild 0.1.x pre-release builds. The exact public release version will be confirmed in the changelog before Theme Store publication.

Use these guides when you know the storefront job but do not yet know which Guild section to choose. They provide shorter task-based routes into the full Sections catalog.

Choose a guide

• Navigation and page structure - Header, Footer, Hero slideshow, Rich content, Media with content, Columns, Boxed content, Layered content, Breadcrumbs, and Spacer.
• Commerce and product discovery - Featured collection, Shop the look, recommendation sections, Recently viewed, Featured catalog, product lists, and Blog posts.
• Forms, popups, and advanced content - Contact form, Search box, Newsletter form, Password form, Popup, Google map, Gift card, Custom HTML, and Custom Liquid.

How to use the guides

1. Start with the merchant goal, not the visual style of a section.
2. Confirm the required Shopify data exists before adjusting layout settings.
3. Add the closest preset and replace its sample content.
4. Review desktop and mobile states with real products, collections, menus, or form responses.
5. Use the full Sections catalog when you need detailed controls or block guidance.
